Abstract

In Industry 4.0 era, green composites transform various industries by merging sustainability with cutting-edge technology, replacing toxic materials with biodegradable alternatives. These composites, made from natural fibers and biodegradable polymers, offer renewability, low density, and cost-effectiveness, addressing environmental concerns and uncertainties in petroleum supply. Biopolymers sourced from natural sources like plants and animals provide environmentally sustainable alternatives to traditional fossil fuel-based polymers, offering unique properties for various applications. Natural fibers, including plant-based, animal-based, and mineral-based, offer renewable and versatile options for textiles and industrial use. The global market for green composites is growing, driven by industries like construction, automotive, and packaging. Despite challenges, green composites offer economic growth and social progress, with ongoing efforts focusing on innovation and responsible resource management to drive positive change.
