Abstract
Neighborhoods characterized by limited access to fresh, nutritious foods and plagued by a spectrum of health disparities, community gardens stand as resilient oases of change. Beyond the hands that till the soil and nurture the seeds, these communal spaces represent a holistic approach to wellness. They address not only the physical aspects of health but also the interconnected facets of mental well-being and community resilience. This exploration aims to shine a light on the profound ways in which community gardens are not merely cultivating crops but also fostering a sense of identity, belonging, and strength in Black neighborhoods across the nation.
