Abstract

Today, the digitally driven world is continuously undergoing substantial environmental deterioration, climate change, melting icebergs in the polar zones (North and South poles), and risks of losing control over the health of the environment, climate, greenhouse system, and earth-surface, et cetera. Environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, resource depletion, and the conservation of nature and biodiversity are being viewed through technology-assisted approaches and lenses with possible novel solutions operated by the rapid advancement of digital innovations, tools, and strategies. Apart from the technologies, environmental education (EE) plays a crucial role in raising awareness about pressing environmental concerns and inspires individuals to take action for the betterment of our planet. However, the advancements in technologies have notably been instrumental in integrating environmental education into various forms, platforms, and media, making information more accessible and engaging for teachers, researchers, practitioners, and learners.
