Abstract
The Indian Healthcare Industry has progressed at an impressive pace. The demand for quality services has been escalating due to changing pattern of demand and supply and customer awareness on the quality of life. The increasing demand for proficiency in the workplace is the most challenging thing of this century. An organization needs people with high employability skills. These skills have a positive impact on patient care and safety, treatment adherence, and patient satisfaction. In order to stay competitive, healthcare providers need to fine-tune their existing personnel by providing them with effective training. This article is an attempt to evaluate the literature regarding the efficacy and outcomes of nine employability skills needed in medical service. Through a conceptual framework, the existing literature gaps have been analyzed in detail, where further future research can be carried out.
