Abstract
The article focuses on the study of logistics professional discourse terminology. The study revealed the tendency towards simplification of the morphological and syntactic structure of logistics terms, discovered new productive patterns for abbreviating logistics terms, found out that the existing problem of terminological homonymy of abbreviations could be solved through applying new patterns for creating abbreviations.
