Appropriate parameters of feed grain crushers are to be selected relying on the in-depth knowledge of fragmentation regularities in single grains and clear understanding of their deformation rheology. Mathematically, the vibration deformation is a considerably complex process related with originating and propagating cracks in a grain body. Therefore, mechanical analogues and adequate models are needed. The paper demonstrates a suggested rheological model – a combination of Ishinsky, Hook, and Newton bodies correctly demonstrates mechanical processes taking part in a being deformed grain when crushing. Analytically, the loading and unloading curve of a grain is reduced to an appropriate form of the Davidenkov mathematical model.
