Abstract
Abstract
One of the main problem of degraded post-industrial areas, preventing their introduction into the secondary economic cycle, is pollution of soil and the impact of these pollution on groundwaters. With the new European Union directives, managers are encouraged to find sound solution for these problems. The process of interaction of contaminated areas is complicated, and the transport of pollutants from the danger place to the usable underground aquifers levels passes through a series of stages of varied mileages. The article presents the possibilities of using ground binders to reduce the emission of ions from soil. The tests have shown that in the case of amphoteric metals, it is possible to accumulate almost 100% of the contamination using clay-cement suspensions.
