Abstract

Abstract Duplex stainless steel is widely used in petrochemical industry because of its good comprehensive mechanical properties. In this paper, hot compression tests of UNS S32760 duplex stainless steel at different strain rates and temperatures were carried out. The influence of strain rate and deformation temperature on deformation resistance of duplex stainless steel is analyzed.
