Abstract
Abstract
A femtosecond optical technique has been developed for studying a highly absorbing microplasma created in a volume of transparent media under intense laser radiation. The approach, which combines interferometric and shadow microscopy and allows reconstructing induced changes in the optical properties of a medium, is described. The results of investigation of the refractive index dynamics in water bulk excited by the intense femtosecond pulses are presented (
