Abstract
AbstractThe traceability system is the ability to trace a product that was developed by a producer to meet consumers’ requirements on origin of its. In recent years, the result of traceability system research has increased significantly, mostly in the fisheries supply chain. At the first, research on traceability systems focused on fisheries products due to antibiotic contamination in the early 1990s. The objective of this paper is to obtain a mapping of traceability system research has done and to analyze its benefit of it for the future. In two decades, the development of this topic is very quick including the seafood supply chain. In this paper, the traceability system was mapped by three aspects, namely based on commodities, method and tracing level, and at the final step, we review the traceability of lobster commodity which is focused on the value chain that influences its quality. Future work of this research was analyzed as our contribution.
