Use the Rhodotorula benthica yeast to feeding of echinoderms

Abstract

Abstract The cultivation conditions influence on the Rhodotorula benthica yeast biomass growth was studied. Methodological recommendations for the yeast biomass cultivation and practical recommendations for the Rhodotorula benthica yeast use as a substitute feed base for the Far Eastern trepang growing larvae and juveniles have been developed. The work results will serve as a basis for the new effective approaches formation to the forage resources organization and echinoderms nutrition during commercial cultivation at mariculture enterprises; will allow replacing the traditional food base (microalgae) with a more economically and functionally effective food type.
