Abstract
Examines the issue of implementing quality management (QM) programmes in the hospitality industry by grouping the prescriptive literature into four research streams. Based on the literature, suggests a proactive approach to implementing QM in the hospitality industry. Finally, provides issues related to QM in the hospitality sector, which need to be addressed in the future.
