Abstract
Outlines the characteristics and applications of the stannic oxide
sensor. Describes the manufacturing process and properties of stannic oxide
and concludes that with modern development in tin dioxide‐based
sensors their application is set to expand from their present role in
domestic, commercial and industrial alarms to monitoring instruments as
well.
