This essay explores the importance of digital literacy in the context of emerging technologies and how library professionals can leverage it to achieve self-sufficiency in their roles. The paper concludes that digital literacy empowers library professionals to navigate the digital landscape, harness AI and data analytics, curate digital resources effectively, teach online information evaluation, and promote digital inclusion.
