Abstract
This article presents a bibliometric review on technological management in universities, identifying trends, challenges and opportunities. A five-stage methodology was used with data from 1986 to 2022 in Scopus. Results highlight the importance of a clear policy and a dedicated team for successful management. Challenges include lack of financing, strengthening entrepreneurial and innovative culture, and collaboration with industry and the productive sector. Recommended strategies are the creation of technology parks, innovation centers and business collaboration. In conclusion, technological management is crucial for university socioeconomic success and development. This study offers information and recommendations to improve practices and contribute to social progress.
