1. General considerations relating to the feeding of laboratory animals are discussed.2. A cubed diet suitable for growing and stock rats and mice is described, together with wire-mesh, containers adapted to various types of cage.3. The consumption and requirement of these cubes by growing rats and mice is recorded.
