BRIEF RESULTS OF THE ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION IN 2021–2022. CRUISE 87 OF THE R/V «AKADEMIK MSTISLAV KELDYSH»

Abstract

This publication presents brief results of the Antarctic expedition in 2021–2022. The research was carried out during a 120-day cruise 87 of the R/V “Akademik Mstislav Keldysh”. Fifty three scientists from the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IO RAS) and 10 other research organizations of Russia participated in the expedition. During the cruise unique data on physical processes and ecology have been collected in the region of the Antarctic Peninsula. The scientists also completed a number of research tasks assigned to the scientists by the government of the Russian Federation.
