Notizen: Die Kristallstruktur von Tetramethylarsonium-dibromodimethylindat [(CH3)4As][(CH3)2InBr2].

Abstract

[(CH3)4As][(CH3)2InBr2] has been prepared by reaction of (CH3)3AsBr2 with ln(CH3)3. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space-group P212121 and four formula units in the cell. The structure was refined by least square analysis to a R-value of 0.072. As in [(CH3)4As][CH3InCl3] or [(CH3)4Sb][CH3InCl3] isolated cationic and anionic tetrahedra are found in the new compound.
