Abstract
AbstractWe established an in vitro activation protocol for the generation of monoclonal antibodies. Purified murine B lymphocytes were activated in vitro with combinations of antigen and selected stimuli. Within ten days we induced specific IgM and IgG antibody responses against a viral coat protein. Permanently antibody-producing hybridomas were generated to produce monoclonal antibodies.
