Abstract
To understand the basic facets of snow tribology, it is necessary to consider dry, wet, compaction, and impact resistances. These mechanisms and their aggregate effect are reviewed and modeled for cold and warm snow temperatures with due consideration of snow moisture and wet lubrication.
