Abstract
The torsional rigidity of rectangular sandwich plates of constant thickness is calculated, with cross sections assumed free to warp. The faces are isotropic and of equal thickness while the core may be orthotropic, the axes of orthotropy coinciding with co-ordinate axes of the structure.
