Abstract

This paper outlines a method that can be used to predict the dynamic track loads and suspension loads that occur in high-speed track vehicles. The presentation includes a description of the mechanical model that was synthesized and a comparison of the predicted and measured dynamic track loads on an M113 armored personnel carrier. It concludes with a discussion of other possible applications.
