An overview on important ethnomedicinal plants of Rajasthan with their antimicrobial properties

Abstract

In era of synthesized drugs, where individuals totally depend upon the chemical formulations of medication that may have adverse effects, people should re-establish their bond with nature. The gradual increase in multidrug resistance (MDR) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) of pathogens is a great concern of worry to the world and obviously for this purpose, novel and effective bioactive constituents from the plants should be explored to get rid of this panic situation. Researchers are searching for the favourable natural source to fight with various antimicrobial diseases. Present study deals with the importance of precious herbs and plants from the treasure of nature and also listed some important ethnomedicinal plants with their bioactive ingredients from the region of Rajasthan.
