Abstract
Until recently, specifications for concrete have concentrated on ensuring the required strength and durability. Nowadays, many clients are also concerned with sustainability and are looking to reduce environmental burdens. This briefing explains how to minimise the embodied carbon dioxide associated with manufacturing concrete.
