Abstract

The last issue of the Probation Journal contained a series of analytic and forward-looking papers which attempted to throw some light on different aspects of the new Labour government's criminal justice policy. Here, Ian Butler, Senior Lecturer in Social Work, and Mark Drakeford, Lecturer in Social Policy, both teaching at the University of Wales, offer some similarly penetrating thoughts on the highly topical subject of Youth Justice.
