Abstract
This study examined the correlation of scores from the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale, 4th Edition (SBIV) with scores from the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children - Revised (WISC-R) in a heterogeneous sample of 168 school children across three age groups (6.0 to 8.11, 9.0 to 12-11 and 13.0 to 16.11 years of age). The results of this study indicated that the SBIV has a significant positive relationship with the WISC-R and this is consistent with findings reported by the test authors for the SBIV.
