Abstract
The T.R.E.A.T. model was designed as a blueprint for constructing counseling goals and objectives during Individualized Education Program meetings. Our model provides the multidisciplinary team-specifically, school counseling professionals— with a procedure for systematically organizing all relevant information when addressing students with special needs. Use of this model results in measurable, manageable, and defensible goals and objectives.
