Abstract
Even as the field of education refers to students who are gifted and talented as the movers and shakers of tomorrow, the issues of career selection, life after school, and life in the real world are seldom discerned as vital components in gifted education. This article discusses components of instruction for students who are gifted and moves instruction beyond the boundaries of school into the real world.
