Abstract
The support by industry of the engineering education process is crucial. Sandwich degree courses, undergraduate vacation training and joint research/consultancy projects can be supplemented by joint undergraduate projects to ensure their industrial relevance. One such project, involving a design development study of a commercial digital filter unit, is described.
