Abstract
The transpersonal may be considered a relational mechanism, which connects people through the boundary permeability and reciprocity of influence in the matrix. The transpersonal perspective enriches our understanding of the potential conscious and unconscious communication in groups, especially in working with dreams. Inter- and intrapersonal dimensions complement each other in three uses of dreaming and dreamtelling: the informative, the formative and the transformative (of relations). Not every dream told may be explored, and dreams told may often include a request for containment and a demand for influence. The transpersonal perspective also elucidates dynamics in groups, which focus on conflict dialogue and may also promote development in this area.
