Abstract
This article examines the meaning of the term `intersubjectivity' as derived from its philosophical roots in phenomenology. It challenges a metaphysical division between internal and external reality that creates two separate worlds, and argues that the interpersonal field is primary. It suggests that this position is inherently related to group analysis.
