Abstract
Dental amalgams fabricated from a dispersion phase consisting of 62%Ag-28%Cu-10%Pd, combined with traditional lathe cut and spherical Ag3Sn alloys, were investigated and compared with commercial Cu-enriched amalgams. High one-hour compressive strength, reduced creep, and significant improvements in corrosion resistance of dispersant and resultant amalgams were obtained.
