Abstract
Microprobe and X-ray diffraction analysis of a high Cu spherical alloy showed a minute dispersion of Cu 3Sn, γ(Ag3Sn), and β(Ag-Sn). The Sn-Hg (γ 2) phase was not detected in amalgams made from this alloy. The reaction phases were found to be γ1(Ag-Hg) and η(Cu6Sn 5).
