1. Corinne Kirchner is director of programs and policy research at the American Foundation for the Blind, coeditor for research of the Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness, and lecturer on “Social Aspects of Disability and Rehabilitation” at Columbia University's School of Public Health. Her research concentrates on concepts, measures, and uses of sociodemographic statistics on disability. She is active in the Society for Disability Studies, serving as its president for the year ending June 1996.
