Abstract
The treatment of choice in a case of ingested Kerosene is rapid, efficient evacuation of the stomach by the use of a stomach tube. The individual components of Kerosene would make it extremely dangerous to allow either gastric, or intestinal absorption to occur. The following gives information regarding the constituents of Kerosene and the toxicology of these individual materials.
