Abstract
It is a controversial issue whether or not stellate ganglion block (SGB) is an effective treatment for facial palsy. A case report is presented in which a patient with traumatic cervical syndrome developed Bell's palsy after being treated by same-side SGB, suggesting that SGB was not able to prevent development of Bell's palsy. The need for further clinical investigations on efficacy of SGB against Bell's palsy seems to be justified.
