Abstract
A dental health educational exercise was carried out on a class of primary school children. A verbal questionnaire was conducted, some formal instruction on dental health was given and group activities on oral hygiene were performed. An attempt was made to promote dental awareness and induce motivation. The amount of learning derived from the exercise was assessed from an analysis of essays written by the children.
