Concurrent Engineering (CE) addresses the major technological issues of the change from sequential to simultaneous engineering It is a systematic approach that enables cooperative work among all groups that plan, design, produce, maintain and support the product over its life cycle It calls for multidiscipline teamwork and promotes collaboration and application of different skills and knowledge sources
