Abstract

The present case study investigates into how Hotstar, a well-known online entertainment platform, has altered and changed the Indian entertainment industry. The case study explores the history of Hotstar, from its founding to its expansion into international markets, highlighting the technological innovations and calculated moves that have propelled the company’s success. This Case Study looks at how Hotstar collects content, enhances user experience, and makes money. It also highlights how Hotstar is changing sports broadcasting and taking on traditional broadcasters. Hotstar is well-positioned for future expansion because to its commitment to innovation and customer-centricity, even in the face of financial, regulatory, and competitive challenges. By examining Hotstar’s past and assessing the key factors that contributed to its success, this essay provides insights into the digital entertainment market and illuminates likely future developments in the space. The study also investigates Hotstar’s current financial and competitive challenges, highlighting the need for fresh approaches.
