Abstract
In order to demonstrate certain properties of a ballooning yarn, an inexpensive and easily constructed apparatus has been made, which has proved very useful for experi mental and teaching purposes. The apparatus can be used for quantitative measurements of yarn tension, particularly with multiple balloons. A bibliography of ballooning theory is appended.
