Abstract
For statistical evaluation of blend variation along the length of strands, it is necessary, to be able to determine the composition of a large number of small specimens. Micro scopic techniques are useful, but tedious. The present report describes two other methods which have been developed: densi tometric and microanalytical spectrophotometric evaluation.
