Abstract
Some physical changes produced by wear have been evaluated for four experimental fabrics made from fiber selected for crimp and fineness. Measurements were made on the yarn count, thickness, capacitance, and weight at specified intervals. The results were related to the length of wear given jumpers made from the fabrics. The yarn counts per inch of fabric tended to increase with wear. The losses in weight, capacitance, and thickness during the six wear periods were sufficient to produce decreasing trends in each instance.
