Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship be tween the extent of educative behavior by adults and their attitudes toward continuing education. Ninety-eight randomly selected em ployees of the Florida Power Corporation responded to the Leisure Activity Survey which measured educative behavior and to a form of the semantic differential which was designed to measure atti tudes toward continuing education. A positive correlation was found between the level of education of the participants and the extent of their educative behavior at the .05 level of signifiance. No significant relationship was found between attitudes toward continuing education and extent of educative behavior.
