Abstract
The substrate film method was applied to localize ribonuclease activity in tissue sections and the distribution of the enzyme in the small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, thyroid, liver and skin of the rat was described. The resolution of the substrate film method has been improved in the present work by using a technique of film preparation which permitted us to obtain thinner films of substrate.
