Abstract
An attempt was made to modify attitudes toward disabled persons via a panel presentation by individuals with visible physical disabilities. Differential effects of live, video, and audio presentations were assessed, as were sex treatment variables. Results suggested that both the live and video presentations had significant effects on attitudes as measured by the ATDP. No significant differences were found between the responses of male and female subjects. Implications for practical use and for further research are discussed.
