Abstract
The recent growth of preschool programs for handicapped children has caused a search for models by which to construct total classroom programs. This article explores three models: behavior modification, normal developmental, and cognitive developmental. Similarities among the programs are drawn. Particularly, distinctions are made as to the necessary steps to meet the requirements of each approach.
