Bayesian Ideal Types: Integration of Psychometric Data for Visually Impaired Persons

Abstract

A model is proposed for the clinical synthesis of data from psychological tests. It integrates the concepts of the ideal type and Bayesian probability and suggests their use with the pattern-similarity coefficient. A pilot study with BEP operators illustrates how the model is applied.
