Abstract
This article presents a case follow-up of a nurse’s election and experiences as a Delaware State Representative. Public policy affects all aspects of the nursing profession. It is important that nurses be part of this process. Political strategies, policy definitions, and tips are shared for other nurses. All elections are different, but there is value in examining the process of this case to add to nurses’ political knowledge and experiences.
