Abstract
A blind teacher of the visually impaired and a 9 year-old blind pupil interact with each other in different daily activities. Selected situations are videotaped and analysed by the blind teacher, a sighted psychologist and a sighted teacher of the visually impaired. The results illuminate the strengths and weaknesses of the blind teacher when working directly with a blind child.
