Ophthalmological Aspects of Learning Disabilities

Abstract

The significance of a multi-discipline program is emphasized for diagnosing and treating learning disabilities. It has also been shown that visual functions have a wide range of physiological fluctuations and balances, influenced by stimuli on the sensori-motor system of the whole visual process. It would seem that the dysfunctions of the visual process have only a very limited influence on learning in an occasional case of dyslexia.
